What does membership include?
Members receive discounted admission to Next Gen and other reciprocating Club dances, as well as discounted admission to our annual WCS dance convention, Boogie By The Bay. The Next Generation Swing Dance Club is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Corporation, which means that donations and membership dues may be tax-deductible.
Discounted admission to our monthly dances & discounted passes to our annual dance convention – Boogie by the Bay!
We’ve done the math for you: Attending just 4 monthly dances + Boogie by the Bay = $40 value in discounts!
Discounted admission to dances at Sister Clubs such as Capital Swing Dancers; and the North Bay Swing Dance Club (formerly the Redwood Empire Swing Dance Club)

There are two types of memberships available with us: Individual and Household. Please make an online payment through PayPal using the button below, and also complete this form. Your membership will be active for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Juniors (under 18 years) receive discounted entry to our monthly dances without a membership!
Individual Membership
$40.00
Individual memberships cost $40 per year
Additional Membership
$30.00
(Additional) Household memberships must be purchased alongside a “primary” individual membership, and cost a discounted $30 per additional member per year.
Household Membership (2 People)
$70.00
Select the Household package to purchase two NextGen memberships, valid for one year. This includes one Individual membership ($40), and one Additional Household membership ($30)
Volunteer With Us
Volunteers are crucial for the success of the Club, in order to serve our community and provide excellent events and opportunities for dancers. Hundreds of dancers have served as board members, committee members, project participants, and volunteers for Next Gen. There are so many different ways you can help, and there are often many current volunteering needs! We want to make your volunteering experience fun and fulfilling.
We most often need volunteers at our Monthly Dances (to help with set-up, pack-down, and registration) or at Boogie by the Bay.

Donations are a way for dancers to support our club activities – dances, events, the annual convention, scholarships, and more! Anyone can donate, and any amount helps!
A “matching gift” is a donation made by a corporation or foundation on behalf of an employee, that matches that employee’s contribution to a nonprofit organization. This can double, triple, or even quadruple your contribution! We are registered with Benevity as “Next Generation Swing Dance Club Inc”. If your organization or employer uses a different platform, please send an email to treasurer@nextgenswing.com so that we can also register there.
A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, that is dedicated to community, focused on fostering a warm and encouraging environment for new dancers, and enthusiastic about promoting West Coast Swing, and other forms of social dancing.
